I have some jewelry, all of which
is real gold, diamonds, ect. and I was wondering how I would go about
selling them and finding out how much they're worth so I don't get
ripped off. Should I take them to a jewelry store and they'll tell me?
Will it cost me money to have the jewelry looked at? Any other tips?

usually gold places
iwll rip you off. I would recomend going to your local jewerler and
getting your things appraised...the majority of them do not charge but

- You first need to know what you have. So check and look for stamps, usually jewelry is marked 10K, 14K, 18K. After you know the quality of the gold you'll have to weigh the items. You can then find its value by using this online estimator:

- Honestly they will only sell for a fraction of what was spent for them. Unless it is VERY, VERY high end stuff, we are talking thousand dollar pieces you will get garage sell prices for them.
